Getting bar codes:

 The terms: getting the certificate for the registration of bar codes takes from 2 to 3 months.

Usage of a bar code is possible immediately after the registration of documents before getting of certificate from 1 to 3 days.   

To get bar codes it’s essential to establish a company in the country you are going to get the bar code.

 

 Annual fee is 700 Euro.

 

 Trade marks

 West Union carries out the activity related to the registration of trade marks and stroke codes which are used by the companies for promoting their goods and services on the international market in different countries. We provide our clients with the registration of the trade mark so in a particular country as in the countries amalgamated with the Madrid Agreement. The registration of the trade marks

To register the trade mark it’s necessary to present its clear colorful image. Based on the table you should point the classes in which the trade mark is going to be used (building, law, education and etc.). The registration fee includes as a rule the cost of three classes. Exta payment is needed for each additional class in the amount of 500 Euro. Besides it’s necessary to fill in a document in which the information about the owner of the trade mark (address, name and etc) will take place.

 

The cost of the trade mark’s registration in Germany or in any EU country including all necessary payments

 1800-2200 Euro (including 3 classes).

The cost of the trade mark’s registration in EU countries ( (taking into consideration new members excluding Swiss and Norway)

 4 800 Euro  (including 3 classes).

The cost of the registration of the International trade mark (on the basis of the Madrid Protocol that includes 77 countries)

 28 000 Euro (including 3 classes).

 

The trade mark is registered for the period of 10 years.  On the expiry of 10 years it’s essential to pay the amount of usage of this trade mark for the following 10 years. In case if the payment is not made, the trade mark is abolished automatically.
